Mindfulness, Meditation, and Yoga
Mindfulness, Meditation, and Yoga
I come to the mat as a space where I can reconnect with myself and the grace and consistent love within and all around me. I am passionate about the natural and holistic means by which we can heal our bodies and minds, and work to curate experiences that enrich and uplift others. My yoga practice is curious, purposeful, empowering, and liberating.

“Yoga is for everyone. You need not be an expert or at the peak of physical fitness to practice the asanas described...Yoga helps to integrate the mental and the physical plane, bringing about a sense of inner and outer balance, or what I term alignment. True alignment means that the inner mind reaches every cell and fiber of the body.” -BKS Iyengar
More than just our physical asana practice, Yoga is a technology for liberation. My practice honors all eight limbs of yoga without hierarchy: ethical practices (yama & niyama), physical postures (asana), control of the breath (pranayama), withdrawal of the senses (pratyahara), singular focus (dharana), meditation (dhayana), and liberation/reunion (samadhi). I believe in yoga lived both on and off the mat.
My yoga, like my life, is infused with wonder, play, and a sense of humor. If we aren't rolling around and laughing , what are we even doing?
